Business Development Director - Financial Services

The Business Development Director will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships while identifying, pursuing and closing sales for WeGoLook’s B2B financial services suite of products.  The Business Develop Director utilizes consultative sales with an emphasis on sales or consulting directly to financial services firms and corporations.



  • Source and close new B2B, corporate account clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (tradeshows, regional organizations, etc.)
  • Build a productive pipeline and manage each phase of the sales process
  • Cultivate and maintain long term relationships with clients by delivering elite client service and engaging them by using knowledge of the financial services industry.
  • Formulate sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Generate daily outreach efforts (direct mail, digital marketing, cold calls) to prospective B2B, corporate account clients.
  • Develop project budgets and create proposals
  • Track sales related activities in—set and execute follow up tasks.
  • Understand and articulate WeGoLook’s full line of business offerings, capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Set and manage client expectations while consulting with each client for best practices
  • Manage and control pricing and contractual issues
  • Create Sales Proposal Content
  • Create Marketing Content
  • Create Sales Reports
  • Develop Onboarding Process with clients
  • Assist with developing best of class inspection reports
  • Assist with scoping company technology integration
  • Work with Corporate Teams to develop new auto products and launch successfully within parallel organizations
  • Work with International Teams to develop new financial service products



  • Sales life cycle experience—from lead generation through business closing
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Superb problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management skills and attention to detail


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

  • Full time position
  • Travel (including multiple annual conferences, client meetings) - domestic and/or international


Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
  • Excellent English communication (written and verbal) skills
  • At least 3-7 years of B2B or corporate account sales experience with an emphasis in financial services clients
